Exhaust Expansion Joints
Stainless Steel exhaust expansion joints and bellows are designed to manage thermal expansion and vibration on high temperature exhaust systems.
Expansion solutions are commonly used across exhaust manifold assemblies, turbo connections, exhaust uptake, and silencer connections. Due to the high temperature and sometimes corrosive nature of the exhaust gas, solutions are normally developed to meet specific operating conditions and parameters.
In all cases reliability and service life are at temperatures in excess of 500 degrees C are critical, Bellows Technology have the ability to provide full cycle life analysis and support product validation testing by utilising our pressure and thermal cycle test rigs.
We also have the ability to provide the full joint and connection solutions:
i. Standard flanges, weld end, or slotted cuff connection
ii. V form flanges, high temp gaskets, V clamp
